The Primrose Awards are the brainchild of Geoffrey Barber and follow the age-old tradition of recognising great achievement. Awards can be vouchers, goods, services or the provision of assistance meeting the specific need of the nominated applicant.
The aim of the Foundation is to help and support people to overcome phenomenal challenges in their lives. We also want to recognise those who have successfully conquered their own challenges and are advising others on how they overcome them.
We want to help change the attitude of as many people as possible to welcome challenges, as they provide opportunities to improve people’s lives and the lives of others, in some cases quite dramatically.
As part of that aim, we provide Primrose Awards (upon successful application) to nominated individuals; from companies, charitable organisations or someone you might know, to assist in overcoming a challenge, or for already having overcome a challenge. The Primrose Awards may be awarded in vouchers, goods, services or through the provision of assistance meeting the specific need of the nominee. It is hoped the award will raise their aspirations, achieve their potential and empower them to make a difference to their own lives and the lives of others.
“If you look really hard at your own challenges, you can find your hope and your opportunity.
Turn your barriers into stepping stones and go for what you want.”
Geoffrey Barber – Founder of The CiaO Foundation
