The CiaO Foundation is proud to support Toby Richardson, who has been accepted onto the Welsh Athletics performance pathway to represent Wales for wheelchair racing as part of Team GB. Congratulations!
Toby has shown what hard work and dedication can achieve in overcoming his own personal challenges. CiaO supported Toby by providing new equipment to aid his performance. His coach, Mickey Bushell MBE, a renowned Paralympian, says:
“With the dedication, commitment and times he is already showing, he will be a true champion in wheelchair racing”.
Toby has a challenging and very busy 2025 season ahead of him:
🥇 Race at Toby’s home track, The Yate Para Athletics club, on 13th April
🥇 Training camp in Portugal with the Welsh development squad
🥇 Switzerland in May to enter the Danial memorial race and the Swiss GP grand prix race
🥇 The TCS Mini London Marathon Championships on 26th June
