The CiaO Foundation was founded in 2016 by Geoffrey, who survived a serious car crash and faced the possibility of not being able to walk again. Through sheer determination and great strength, he embraced this challenge as an opportunity to progress and in so doing transformed his thinking and practice. CiaO (Challenge is an Opportunity) was born out of this experience and, Geoffrey’s will to recognise the efforts and endeavours of others who have similarly overcome adversity.
