At the CiaO Foundation, we often speak about the idea that Challenge is an Opportunity.
Few people have demonstrated that more powerfully in recent months than Jason Wells. Having set himself the extraordinary challenge of walking solo across Spain, Jason embarked on a journey that demanded commitment, resilience and determination in equal measure. Along the way he not only tested his own limits but inspired countless others who followed his progress.
What makes Jason’s achievement especially meaningful is the reason behind it. The walk was not about speed or spectacle, but about capability, resilience, and the belief that midlife strength can be built step by step.
From the outset, Jason chose to use his challenge as an opportunity to support the CiaO Foundation and the people we serve. By raising awareness of the charity and encouraging donations through his walk, he has helped us continue our mission of supporting individuals who are facing significant challenges in their own lives.
Whether the challenge was a difficult day on the trail, navigating unfamiliar terrain, or simply finding the determination to keep moving forward, Jason embodied the values that sit at the very heart of CiaO. His journey, taking on 1,000km over 30 days, reminded us all that progress is often achieved one step at a time.
